Terms of Service
Publisher: Maydan (ميدان) Effective date: 5 October 2026 Version: 1.0.0
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Maydan workforce attendance platform, including the mobile application, administration dashboard, and related services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Maydan on behalf of an organization, you also represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that use.

2. The Service
Maydan helps organizations manage location-based employee attendance and related workforce workflows, such as schedules, permissions, leave, overtime, attendance corrections, approvals, notifications, and reporting. Features available to you depend on your employer’s configuration and your assigned role.
3. Accounts and eligibility
Accounts are provisioned by your organization. You must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and use only the device binding and authentication methods required by the Service and your employer. You are responsible for activity under your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access to your administrator and to Maydan at the contact above.
4. Employer relationship
Maydan is a platform provider. Your employer remains responsible for its employment policies, attendance rules, approvals, and decisions made using the Service. Maydan does not become your employer by providing the platform.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
attempt to bypass geofencing, device binding, authentication, or security controls;
falsify attendance, location, attachments, or request information;
probe, disrupt, or abuse the Service, other users, or underlying infrastructure;
use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of your employer’s policies;
reverse engineer the Service except where mandatory law permits.
6. Location, biometrics, and device requirements
Some attendance actions require foreground location permission and may require local biometric confirmation on your device. If required permissions or device checks fail, related attendance actions may be denied. Location is used for attendance verification at check-in/check-out and not for continuous tracking, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Content and attachments
You are responsible for content you submit, including request details and attachments. Do not upload unlawful, misleading, or unauthorized personal data. Medical or other sensitive attachments should be submitted only when required for a legitimate request workflow.
8. Intellectual property
Maydan and its licensors own the Service, branding, and software. Your organization retains rights in its own data. These Terms do not transfer ownership of either party’s intellectual property except for the limited rights needed to operate the Service.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify features, apply maintenance, or update these Terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where mandatory law requires additional consent.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Maydan disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and does not warrant that attendance records or client-reported integrity signals are complete or free from manipulation.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maydan is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for employment decisions made by your organization. Maydan’s aggregate liability arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees paid to Maydan for the Service for the three months before the claim or (b) SAR 1,000, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Suspension and termination
We or your organization may suspend or end access if these Terms, security requirements, or applicable law are violated, or if a subscription ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) survive termination.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Courts in Riyadh have primary jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or employee protections that cannot be waived.
